Michael Deege, CFP®, JD, mdeege@hotmail.com Committee Members: Fostering Trust: Begins with clear and open communications, with a detailed understanding of expectations. Creating the Shared Vision: Our vision is to help our members build and maintain a practice based on the highest professional and ethical standards. We will communicate effectively with all of our constituents, including our members, the public, financial services industries, legislators, and regulatory bodies. We will influence legislation that affects the interests of our members and their constituencies. Developing Strategies & Initiatives: Our strategies may include providing educational resources that help to implement our vision. • Solicit membership for additional committee members to help in the implementation and the ongoing process of development • Communicate to members concerning legislative and regulatory issues • Provide educational resources to our members • Develop mutually beneficial relationships with allied associations • Raise awareness of the financial planning process and profession • Enable our members to effectively communicate and be a source of influence to legislators • Develop the capability to influence legislative and rulemaking Energizing Alliances: We will identify and contact likely allies, partners, constituents, legislators and regulators.
